Chief Executive Officer
Vincent guides the growth of Telepin, delivering an innovative software platform that enables digital transactions and payments for the telecom and financial services markets. He tackles global problems of financial inclusion through innovation in digital payments and the alignment of initiatives with organizations such as the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. He also works with global executives and associations such as the GSMA, the World Bank, and the IFC, driving standardization, and adoption of digital financial services and emerging payments technologies. Prior to joining Telepin, Vincent was founder and CTO of Airwide Solutions, a mobile messaging company that powered 30 percent of the global mobile messaging traffic and was subsequently acquired by Mavenir. He has pioneered many technologies and first-time service launches, including secure mobile banking and payment products with major banks and operators in the U.S. and Canada when working for Saraide. Prior to that, he worked at CrossKeys Systems Corporation, a Newbridge Networks affiliate focused on OSS/BSS telecom solutions. He started his career at Accenture in its Technology Integration Services business group, working on digital transformation projects.

Eric is responsible for the operational reliability and scalable technology behind Telepin’s world-class mobile transaction solutions. As head of R&D, he drives the end-to-end platform roadmap while constantly focusing on what customers want and need in the evolving global mobile economy. He also leads Telepin’s open-source initiatives to support financial services in developing countries with groups like the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and the GSMA. Prior to joining Telepin in 2008, Eric held various roles at Airwide Solutions, where he grew his experience as a trusted advisor through his work across a diverse set of roles, including product management and solution architecture. Eric holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Systems and Computer from Carleton University.

Carrie-Anne leverages her 20-plus years of product, brand, program, and business-to-business marketing experience as she oversees the integration of the corporate and product brand strategies, with a core focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences. Prior to joining Telepin, she was an advisory CMO, guiding businesses in the strategies and processes necessary to take them to their next level of performance—from start-up, to mid-sized, to Fortune 500. Carrie-Anne’s prior experience also involves serving as vice president of global marketing and sales operations for Recognia, where she built a solid brand internationally and delivered exceptional customer programs that achieved year-over-year revenue growth of 25 percent during her tenure.

Kellie has 20+ years of experience in Human Resources and has worked at companies of various sizes and at various stages of development. At Telepin, she builds and enhances all HR practices, policies, and programs to align with the company’s overall business and organizational objectives, while managing change and impact on the business. Her proven success and results have been demonstrated in all areas of HR including compensation, performance management, organizational design and development, mergers and acquisitions, HR policy development, employee retention, change management, leadership coaching, employee engagement, and benefits. Kellie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Sociology from Carleton University, a Human Resource Management diploma from Seneca College, and a Certified Exit Planning Advisor designation from the University of Chicago. She is a member of the Human Resources Professional Association of Ontario.

Cathy Smith brings over 20 years of experience in the technology industry as her role as Telepin’s finance leader. As a key member of the executive team Cathy will use her abilities in the arenas of strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, and fund raising to build an appropriate infrastructure to support continued growth and innovation at Telepin. Prior to joining Telepin, she served as Chief Financial Officer for several high tech organizations both large and small including AirVM and Fusebill. In addition, she has held senior leadership roles through the exits of BTI Solutions acquired by Juniper Networks and Protus acquired by J2 Global. Cathy enjoys the continually changing landscape faced by technology companies and strives to match the evolution of the finance function to the maturity of the business. Cathy holds a Bachelor of Mathematics and a Master of Accounting degrees from the University of Waterloo. She is designated as a Chartered Professional Accountant in Ontario and licensed as a CPA in the state of Illinois.

Rizwan has more than 20 years of sales, business development, and new market development experience. His expertise includes developing new business through strategic partnerships, new customer acquisitions, and opening new markets. He has a successful track record of driving growth and developing long-term successful customer relationships. Rizwan’s focus is to provide exceptional customer advocacy that enables Telepin customers to get a solid return on their investment, and to provide strategic direction on the future growth of the company. He holds a Bachelor of Computer Science from Brock University.

Phil leads the professional services team at Telepin that is committed to service excellence and driving exceptional value for customers. Leveraging his 20-plus years of global technology services delivery experience to Fortune 500 customers, he sets the services strategy and drives the long-term direction of the team. He collaborates closely with customers to understand their business needs and provides suitable solutions. He is focused on achieving a high degree of customer satisfaction and has a consistent track record of helping customers realize a greater return on their technology investment. Prior to joining Telepin, Phil led professional services teams at various system integrators, software providers, and consulting firms including CGI, ANCILE Solutions, and GP Strategies. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Business Administration from Queen’s University.

Alvaro has more than 20 years of experience in various customer success roles at organizations such as CAE, Newbridge Networks and Crosskeys Systems. In his current role, Alvaro is tasked with establishing Telepin’s global infrastructure for customer support and managed services. On a mission to push Telepin into becoming the foremost supplier and leader of mobile financial solutions, he is focused on providing exceptional customer support that enables Telepin customers to get a solid return on their investment. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from Concordia University.
